Sheet dimensions
Small output makes the distinction between paper size and image size easy to see. Borders consume a greater share of the available area, and a few millimetres of trimming or feeding variation can materially change the visible composition.
| Measurement | Value |
|---|---|
| Millimetres | 74 × 105 |
| Centimetres | 7.4 × 10.5 |
| Inches (approximately) | 2.9134 × 4.1339 |
| Landscape millimetres | 105 × 74 |
A layout at actual size
A portrait image rectangle of 50 × 75 mm fits on A7 with 12 mm at each side and 15 mm above and below when centred. A 1000 × 1500 pixel file printed in that rectangle gives 508 PPI in both directions, because 50 mm is about 1.9685 inches.
Margins and printing limits
Do not infer minimum supported paper size from the printer’s maximum size. A device that prints A4 may not feed A7 safely or accurately. If necessary, place several small image rectangles on a supported larger sheet and cut them after checking the printed measurements.
The spaces in the example are calculated from the paper and image rectangles. They are not a device-specific margin recommendation. Match the PDF page to the loaded paper and check a physical calibration mark before relying on the final dimensions.
