Keyboard and form controls
Use the file-picker button as an alternative to drag and drop. Form controls have labels, and crop-position controls provide an alternative to moving the preview with a pointer. Use the normal keyboard behaviour of each control to adjust its value.
Visible focus helps you follow navigation through the page. Errors are described in text so that a colour change is not the only indication of a problem. A failed input should leave other valid settings available for correction.
Reading, zoom, and smaller screens
The tools and documentation adapt to narrower layouts. Use browser zoom to enlarge text and controls. Numerical results and explanations remain available as text alongside the preview, including retained pixels, effective PPI, crop percentage, and border measurements.
Light and dark themes provide a choice for the interface. They do not change the photograph’s actual pixels or the background deliberately selected for an export. An image may still need visual inspection even when its measurements are readable.
Motion and feedback
The interface respects a preference for reduced motion. Crop and layout changes should remain understandable without decorative animation. Loading and export outcomes use text feedback so the user can tell whether the operation completed or failed.
Limits of the visual preview
The numerical controls can describe where a crop lies, but they cannot identify which person, object, or detail is important in an arbitrary photograph. PrintLilt does not automatically produce a scene description or judge the composition on your behalf.
For a task that requires checking a particular face, signature, or edge, use your preferred assistance or an additional inspection method. Manual dimensions remain available when a numerical calculation is all that is needed.
Documentation and exported files
The guides are ordinary page text with headings, lists, and tables. The export documentation explains which format contains image pixels, a physical layout, or parameters. A photo-layout PDF is primarily a visual print output and is not presented as a fully tagged accessible document.
