Troubleshoot files and exports
Read the specific error and preserve your original file. Correct the failed step rather than repeatedly changing unrelated settings.
The file will not open
Use a static JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Animated PNG and WebP are not accepted. The tool checks the actual file signature and structure; a renamed extension does not convert unsupported data.
A declared type that conflicts with the file signature is rejected. A damaged or incomplete file can also fail decoding. Open the original in another suitable viewer and create a separate supported copy if necessary.
The image exceeds a limit
All input limits apply together. A compressed file can be small in bytes and still decode to too many pixels. The browser may also run out of memory below the stated ceilings.
Close other memory-heavy work or create a separate smaller source. Keep the original. Manual entry remains available for numerical planning but does not bypass the requirements for a real image export.

The project needs its original
A parameter-only project and every downloaded JSON file require the source photo again. Choose the original and check its dimensions and orientation. A missing local original can result from cleared or unavailable browser storage; the parameters do not contain hidden image bytes.
The export failed
Check that a source image is open, the layout fits the sheet, and all dimensions are valid. For JPEG, choose an opaque background explicitly if the current background is transparent. PNG can use transparent or solid output.
Reduce the output’s resource demands when the browser reports memory failure, then try again. A failed attempt is not a completed download. Open any resulting file independently and inspect its pixels or page size before relying on it.
The local save failed
Storage can be disabled, full, or unavailable. A failure means the new state was not persisted. Download the parameter JSON and keep the original in your own files, then clear unneeded local projects if appropriate.
If a PDF downloads but prints too small, check the print settings. Match the paper and use actual size, then measure the calibration mark. Contact and help lists a support address and useful diagnostic details. Use the sample photo or a non-private test file when asking for help.
