Sheet dimensions
Statement can hold a small photo with room for a border. Its dimensions differ from A5, which is 148 × 210 mm. If you prepare a file for one and select the other in a print dialog, automatic fitting can change the intended image size.
| Measurement | Value |
|---|---|
| Millimetres | 139.7 × 215.9 |
| Centimetres | 13.97 × 21.59 |
| Inches (exact) | 5.5 × 8.5 |
| Landscape millimetres | 215.9 × 139.7 |
A layout at actual size
A portrait 4 × 6 inch image centred on Statement leaves 0.75 inch at the sides and 1.25 inches at the top and bottom. A 5 × 7 inch image leaves 0.25 inch at the sides and 0.75 inch vertically. Choose the latter only if the device can use the resulting area.
Margins and printing limits
A Half Letter label does not guarantee that a printer can feed a small cut sheet. Check the supported media sizes and loading instructions. You can instead lay out the same image on a supported larger sheet, retaining its physical dimensions and trimming afterward.
The spaces in the example are calculated from the paper and image rectangles. They are not a device-specific margin recommendation. Match the PDF page to the loaded paper and check a physical calibration mark before relying on the final dimensions.
